Advice For The Night

For those of you who have not been to one of our displays, we have the following advice:

  • Your safety: Stay behind the safety fencing. Please don't bring your own fireworks, including sparklers.
  • Car Parking: The car park is on grass; drive steadily especially if the surface is damp. Please follow the directions from the ‘marshals’.
  • Arriving On Foot: Please use the entrance by the churchyard rather than the driveway being used by cars.
  • Footwear: Wear sensible footwear, as the whole area has been grazed by cows until the end of October.
  • Torches: Bring a torch. We do light the viewing area and the way to it, but it always helps to have your own torch when finding your car afterwards.
  • Litter: Please take all your litter home.
  • Noise: This is a large fireworks display; the loud bangs may frighten small children. Please don't bring any pets.
  • Cancellation: Any large fireworks display is affected by the weather (e.g. strong wind, low cloud, very heavy rain). If the forecast weather conditions are unsuitable, we will cancel the display (we don't postpone). The final decision will be made on the day before the display. This website will be updated with the latest news on Friday 31st October. Spire FM (102) will also announce any cancellations.

Thank you, we hope you enjoy the show.
